Tokyo’s Bicycle-Parking Robot
OK, Aibo fans, this one’s for you. It’s a bicycle parking robot that stores your bicycle in an underground, 9,000-bicycle capacity parking facility. That’s very efficient use of urban space!
Obviously, we don’t have such a need in the States (yet!) for such parking capacity (or gadgetry, for that matter), but it’s still a cool video and I like how excited the announcer gets.
What a way to end your commute! I still haven’t talked my boss into getting a basic bike rack for the office. Slow are the cogs of change in even the smallest offices…
